Eksplorasi Jenis Dan Pemanfaatan Tumbuhan Obat Tradisional Yang Ada Di Kawasan Hutan Tirta Rimba

Abstrak

Traditional medicinal plants are plants with proven medicinal properties that have been used by the community for generations. Most medicinal plants are utilized by boiling them and using them directly. Medicinal plants can be obtained from home gardens, gardens and forests, one of which is the Tirta Rimba forest, however, not many medicinal plants have been identified in the Tirta Rimba forest area. The aim of this research is to identify the types of medicinal plants in the Tirta Rimba forest area, identify the parts of plant organs used as medicine, and find out how to use medicinal plants. This research was carried out from 8 Augus to 31 August 2023. This research was conducted in the Tirta Rimba forest area, data collection was carried out by observation, identification, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively that is, data obtained will be presented or described narratively and presented in the from of tables and graphs. The results of this research obtained 19 species of plants with medicinal properties in the Tirta Rimba forest area, namely : Sellaginella plana, Morinda citrifolia, Hibiscus tiliaceus, Lantana camar, Artocarpus heterophyllus, Chromolaena odorata, Peperomia pellucida, Desmodium gangeticum, Annona muricata, Coccinia grandis, Euphorbia hira, Bidens pilosa, Swietenia mahagoni, Phyllanthus urinaria, Abrus precatorius, Citrus aurantifolia, Cocos nucifera, Mangifera indica, Arcangelisia flava. Meanwhile, the parts of the organs used are: leaves, fruit, seeds, stems, and some use more than one plant organ. The use of medicinal plants is done by boiling as much 47.6%, burning 4.8%, pounding 9.5%, and using directly 38.1%.
